Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 25, 2026

These terms apply when you buy from truweli.com. Please read them before you order. If anything’s unclear, email us and we’ll explain.

1. Who we are

Truweli is a trading name of Mark Pearson, a sole trader.

86a Briardale, Consett, County Durham, DH8 7BD, United Kingdom. Email: hello@truweli.com

We are not VAT registered and do not have a VAT number. We usually reply to emails within 24 hours.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply when you buy from us on truweli.com as a consumer, for your own private use. We currently ship to the United States only (see our Shipping page).

Our products are gifts for adults. They are not children’s products and not toys.

Nothing in these terms takes away your legal rights as a consumer.

3. Our products and images

We take care to describe and show our products accurately. Product images are mockups, and colors on screen can look a little different from the printed item, because screens vary. Small variations in print placement can happen because each item is printed individually.

This doesn’t limit your rights if an item is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.

4. Prices and tax

Prices are in US dollars and are shown on the product page. Any shipping charge (for example, on sweatshirts, hoodies, mugs or Christmas ornaments) is added at checkout, and you’ll see the full total before you pay. Shipping on tees and blankets within the US is free.

We are not VAT registered, so we do not add VAT. We don’t currently collect US sales tax. If that changes, any tax is shown at checkout before you pay.

If we make an obvious pricing mistake, we’ll contact you before accepting your order. If you’ve already paid, you can choose to pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Your order and when it’s accepted

When you place an order, you’ll get an email confirming we’ve received it. Our contract with you starts when we accept your order, which happens when we confirm it or send it into production, whichever comes first.

If we can’t accept your order (for example, a product is unavailable or we can’t deliver to your address), we’ll tell you and won’t charge you. If you’ve already paid, we’ll refund you in full.

6. Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe (through WooPayments) and PayPal. Depending on your device and order, you can pay by card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, Klarna or Afterpay. You’ll see the options at checkout before you pay. We don’t see or store your full card details.

7. Made to order

Every item is printed after you order, just for you, and shipped from inside the USA by our US print partners. Production usually takes 3–7 business days.

8. Shipping

Shipping details and charges are on our Shipping page. If we haven’t agreed a delivery date with you, we’ll deliver without undue delay and within 30 days.

If your order hasn’t arrived within 30 days of shipping, or tracking shows no movement for 10 days, email hello@truweli.com with your order number and we’ll sort it out.

Please check your shipping address carefully before you order. Your order stays our responsibility until it reaches you, or someone you’ve nominated to receive it.

9. Returns and cancellations

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, misprinted or not as described, we’ll replace it or refund you, with no need to send it back. Email hello@truweli.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. Every piece is printed after you order, so please check your size with the size guide before you order.

Your right to cancel: wherever you live, you can cancel your order without giving a reason, from when we accept it until 14 days after it’s delivered. The 14 days start the day after delivery (if your order arrives in more than one package, the day after the last one arrives). To cancel, email hello@truweli.com or use the model cancellation form on our Returns and Refunds page.

You then have a further 14 days to send the item back. Email hello@truweli.com for the return address. Returns go to us in the UK, and you pay the return postage. Please send the item back unworn and unwashed, with any tags still on, or otherwise in its original condition. You can handle it and try it on as you would in a shop, but if it has been used beyond what’s needed to check it, we’ll reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value. We refund the item price and the standard delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the item back, or of you giving us proof you’ve posted it, whichever comes first. The refund goes to your original payment method.

We don’t offer exchanges. You can cancel for free before your order goes into production, and we’ll refund you in full. Your right to cancel is in addition to your rights if an item is faulty, damaged or wrong (section 10). Your statutory rights are not affected. Full details are on our Returns and Refunds page.

10. Faulty, damaged or wrong items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, misprinted, not as described, not fit for purpose or not what you ordered, email hello@truweli.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We’ll put it right at no cost to you with a replacement or a refund, whichever you prefer where the law gives you that choice, and we’ll always give you any remedy the law gives you. If a fault shows up after 30 days, still tell us as soon as you notice it; UK consumers are covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

11. Our responsibility to you

If we break these terms, we’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking them or of our failing to use reasonable care and skill. We’re not responsible for loss or damage that wasn’t foreseeable.

We don’t exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for breaching your legal rights as a consumer.

We sell to consumers for private use, so we’re not responsible for any business losses.

12. Our designs and website content

Our designs, artwork, text, images and the Truweli name belong to us or are used with permission. You’re welcome to view and share our pages for personal use, but please don’t copy, reproduce or sell our designs.

13. Problems and complaints

If something’s gone wrong, email hello@truweli.com. We usually reply within 24 hours, and we’ll do our best to put it right.

14. Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, because we are based in England. Nothing in these terms takes away any consumer protection the law of the place where you live gives you. You can bring a claim in the courts where you live.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one shown here when you placed it. A change won’t affect an order you’ve already placed.
