This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on truweli.com, what they do and how you can control them.

The short version

Essential cookies keep the cart, checkout, payments, fraud prevention, login and security working. We also offer optional Google Analytics cookies to help us understand visits and improve the shop. You can accept, reject or customise optional cookies using the banner, and change your choice later using Consent Preferences. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from shopping.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in the same way. Some are deleted when you close your browser (“session” cookies); others stay for a set time.

Strictly necessary cookies and storage

These are needed for the shop to work, so they can’t be switched off. You can still block them in your browser, but your cart, checkout or login may stop working.

Cookies set by payment providers on their own sites

Payments are processed securely by Stripe (through WooPayments) and PayPal. Depending on your device and order, you can pay by card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, Klarna or Afterpay. When you use one of these, the provider may set its own cookies on its own domains to process your payment and prevent fraud. These providers control their own cookies. Please see Stripe’s cookie policy, PayPal’s cookie statement, Amazon Pay’s privacy notice and Google’s cookie information.

Optional Google Analytics

With your consent, Google Analytics through Site Kit measures visits, pages viewed, interactions, traffic sources, approximate location, and browser and device information. Google processes this information to provide reports about use of our shop. Google tags are configured to stay blocked before consent; Advanced Consent Mode is off.

Cookie Purpose Default duration
_ga Distinguishes visitors 2 years
_ga_* Maintains session information 2 years

These are Google’s default lifetimes; browser limits and your choices may shorten them. See Google’s cookie information and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Your consent choices

FAZ Cookie Manager records your choices so the shop can respect them. Consent is configured to last up to 180 days, after which we ask again. Use the Consent Preferences button to review your categories or withdraw consent at any time. Essential payment and security services remain available for checkout.

How to manage cookies

You can see, block or delete cookies in your browser settings: Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge. If you block strictly necessary cookies, your cart, checkout or login may not work.

Changes to this page

We’ll update this page if the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
