Every birder has a ten-minute stare they would rather not discuss. This bold flat graphic T-shirt owns up to it: It was a leaf. I watched it for ten minutes. A bearded camper leans back in a folding chair by the lake while an orange leaf drifts on the water. Fieldwork, technically.

Made for backyard birders, trail regulars and anyone who has lifted binoculars at a pine cone. Hand it over for a birthday, a retirement or a fall trip to the lake. All patience, no bird. The leaf did not show up on the life list.
